The stone's weight in carats — the single most important value factor.

The presence or absence of internal characteristics, on the international FL–I3 scale.

The D–Z scale for colourless diamonds — the more colourless, the more valuable.

Cut
The quality of the cut determines the brilliance and has a real impact on the price.
Appraisal follows the international 4C criteria: Carat weight, Clarity, Colour and Cut. GIA, HRD or IGI certificates make the process easier and strengthen the offer, but they are not required.
For jewelry with stones, we appraise the metal and the stones separately — so you get paid for both, not just for the gold.

For both. Diamonds and precious stones are appraised separately and added to the offer for the metal.
Do I need a certificate to sell a diamond?
No. A certificate (GIA, HRD, IGI) helps with documentation, but we also appraise stones without one.
How is a diamond appraised?
Using the international 4C criteria — carat weight, clarity, colour, cut — by a trained appraiser, in front of you.
Do you also buy semi-precious stones?
